Made from a splash-proof Nautica fabric, men's board shorts, handmade and printed with your own photos and images are perfect for all kinds of summertime events. With a peached face, these shorts are soft to the touch, and thanks to the thin splash proof nature of the fabric they are extremely fast-drying. Design your own shorts using your photos and images, and you can even add text too. Stand out from the crowd this summer with these personalised shorts.

Your new garment is made from a high quality, long lasting fabric. Follow our care instructions to ensure it lasts for many years! Turn inside out before washing. Iron on the reverse of the printed side. 30°c wash. Low tumble heat. Do not wring. Low heat iron. Steam safe.

Down to the details

Your personalised shorts can be customised right down to the detailing options. You can choose from either white or black buttons, which will also change the colour of the stitching fabric to white or black, respectively. Design your own shorts using your photos and you can even add text. You can customise the front and back, of each the right and left leg, separately, as well as both the inside and outside of the waistband. Use a single photo, and colourful images and design or create a montage using a selection of your favourite snaps. 

The splash-proof shorts have a 1.5-inch waistband that widens to two inches at the front. The waistband is elasticated at the back. There are small darts at the back from the waistline to give the personalised shorts a little extra shaping. A rear, right-leg-pocket has a dual velcro fastening, to give you extra storage in your personalised shorts.

How we make it

Entirely on-site

Your personalised shorts are handmade to order in our London facility. Design your own shorts, and we will print this directly onto the fabric using up-to-date, digital printing methods. Your design is bonded to the fabric rather than onto transfers which sit on the fabric. This means that your print will not peel off or have a textured feel where the design is, allowing you to fully enjoy the soft peached face of the Nautica fabric. 

Once printed, your custom made fabric is then passed on to our craftsmen, who will cut the fabric to the right size and shape for your shorts. The reason we do this after printing is to ensure that your photos span from one edge of the shorts to the other, rather than leaving white edges around your design. The craftsman will then pass your digitally printed board shorts to our expert seamstresses who will stitch and finish your shorts. Once all of this has been completed, we quality check everything to make sure it's just as we would expect, and once we are happy with it we send your new pair of men's board shorts, handmade and posted out to you.

Design tips

Get creative

We love the idea of using a single photo on one leg when you design your own shorts and then using patterns, colours or designs which complement it for the rest of the shorts. We think this gives a really modest, and still truly personal finish. Another favourite idea of ours is using the customisable waistband to print text, perfect for a message if you are buying the personalised shorts as a gift, or for a catchy slogan, or inspirational motto. 

Creating photo collages using snaps of your beach holidays, or waterfalls or cliffs is a great idea, as these custom made board shorts are perfect for splashing around with your friends or loved ones. Whatever you decide to do with your personalised shorts, one thing is for sure, nobody else will ever have the same pair.
