Put simply, furnishing fabrics are those which you can use to furnish your home; these could be for home decor and interiors, furnishing and upholstery or even soft furnishing fabrics such as cushions and bedding. Depending on the purpose of the furnishing, you will need different properties and characteristics for your material, and we have a range of personally selected textiles that are ideal for home furnishing for you to browse.

Soft furnishing Fabrics Product Information

Soft furnishings, such as bedding and cushions, require a soft yet hard wearing material, preferably with little to no stretch; the last thing you want to be doing is trying to change the bedding and every time you get the quilt into the corners the cover stretches and is too big. Personally printed

All fabrics are printed by hand, to order in our studio, here in London. All of our print methods are digital, including pigment printing and dye sublimation. Dye sublimation is where your personalised design is printed onto a transfer paper. Heat is then used to bond your custom design to the fabric of your choice. Pigment printing is a more localised method, where the dye is applied directly to the fabric in precise locations to build up your custom created design. Please note that due to the nature of Cotton Linen and Pima Lawn Cotton there is a possibility of small white dots, where pieces of cotton fluff are removed revealing unprinted white base material, this is due to the processing methods used. Please note that this is normal and cannot be avoided but won't affect the strong colours and detailed nature of your print. To finish your furnishing fabrics, you can choose from two different hemming options, or have your personalised fabric sent to you without being hemmed; either cut on the line, with no white edges, or exactly as it comes from the printer.
